Questions & answers
The questions homeowners actually ask.
The questions homeowners actually ask us, in the order they tend to ask them — from "is this a job for you?" through to "what happens when the scope changes?"
Stage
Before you decide
What kind of work do you take on?
We're a building and renovation firm. Our core work is house extensions, full house renovations, kitchens, bathrooms and loft conversions, and we also handle roofing, driveways, plumbing and electrical work — usually as part of a larger project, since we cover the trades in-house. If it's a build or a refurbishment across South-East England, it's likely a job for us.
How experienced is the team?
Rightmove Construction is led by Bally and brings nearly two decades of hands-on construction experience. Just as importantly, it's a real, named team — you'll see them in our own site photos in branded workwear — rather than a one-man van subbing the work out.
We've not done a project this big before — is that a problem?
Not at all. A large part of what clients thank Bally for is the guidance at the start and the calm through the middle. One review describes him as "incredibly understanding and cooperative" through "quite a few challenges along the way" — "patient, calm, and professional at all times." We'll talk you through what's realistic before anything starts.

Getting a quote
Do you charge for a visit or a quote?
No. Bally will come out, look at the job properly and talk it through, and there's no charge for that visit or for the written quote that follows.
What if the scope grows once you've started?
On extensions and renovations it often does — walls come down and the real state of the house appears. We handle it the way our reviews describe: one client's scope "increased considerably after they started" and the team still finished on time, "prompt, professional and flexible." When something changes, we talk through what it means for the work, the timeline and the cost before we act on it.

During the build
Will you turn up when you say, and keep to the schedule?
It's the single thing our reviews mention most. "Their punctuality was outstanding – always on time, reliable, and respectful of the schedule." "They were always on time and worked very efficiently." Turning up and keeping to the programme is the foundation of how we work.
How much mess and disruption should we expect?
A build is never invisible, but it needn't take over the house. We protect the site while we work and tidy up at the end of each day — "we were impressed with how clean they were and how they tidied everything up every evening before leaving," as one review puts it. Another simply said, "what made it even easier was they was so tidy."

Areas & availability
Which areas do you cover?
We work across South-East England, roughly from West London out to Reading — Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead and Uxbridge close to base, through Richmond and Ealing into London, and west toward Bracknell, Wokingham and Reading. If you're along that corridor and not sure, just ask.
Can we book you for more than one project?
Yes — plenty of clients do, and it's the compliment we value most. "We are already planning our next project with them," as one review ends. If you've got a phased plan in mind, it's usually worth talking it through up front.
