A driveway or patio is only as good as what's underneath it. Skimp on the excavation, the sub-base or the drainage and it sinks, cracks and pools water within a year or two. Done properly — dug out to depth, compacted, drained and edged — it stays flat and true for decades.
We lay driveways and patios as the finishing touch on a renovation or as a standalone project: block paving, resin-bound gravel and large-format porcelain, edged and drained so the front of the house looks as considered as the inside.
The base decides everything
We dig out to the right depth, lay and compact a proper sub-base, and build in drainage and edge restraints before a single paver goes down — the unseen groundwork that decides whether a driveway lasts or fails.
Surfaces to suit the house
Block paving, resin-bound surfacing and porcelain paving, set out and laid cleanly, with the falls and drainage right so water goes where it should. Laid to complement the front elevation rather than fight it.
