Roofing

Pitched and flat roofs, re-roofs and roof lanterns — weathertight and neat

A roof is the one part of a building you never want to revisit, so it has to be right first time: sound battens and felt, tiles or slates laid true, flashings dressed properly, and flat roofs finished in a membrane that will not let go. On our extensions, the roof is where the daylight comes from too — a well-set roof lantern changes a whole room.

Our own project photos show both sides of this: a crisp pitched re-roof in clay tiles, and a flat roof finished with a large aluminium-framed roof lantern sitting neatly in a fresh membrane.

Roofing

Pitched roofs and re-roofs

New battens and underlay, clay or concrete tiles and slates laid true, ridge and hip lines set straight, and flashings dressed so the roof stays weathertight for the long term.

Flat roofs and roof lanterns

Warm flat-roof build-ups finished in durable membranes, with aluminium-framed roof lanterns and rooflights set in cleanly — the detail that turns a flat-roofed extension into a light-filled room rather than a dark box.
