House Extensions

Single-storey, double-storey and kitchen extensions — planned, sequenced and finished as one job

A good extension is a sequencing job as much as a building one: groundworks and footings, structural steels, the brick or block shell, roof and glazing, then the first-fix trades, plaster and finishes — each in the right order so nothing has to be undone. Get that sequence right and the project runs on time; get it wrong and it drifts for months.

This is the work our clients review most warmly. One wrote of a kitchen extension that "looks absolutely beautiful and has truly become the heart of our house," adding that Bally stayed "patient, calm and professional" through the challenges every build throws up. Another had their scope grow "considerably" mid-project and still finished on time — "prompt, professional and flexible."

House Extensions

One team from footings to finish

Groundworks, structural steels, brickwork, roofing, glazing, first and second fix, plastering and decoration — carried through by the same team, so the trades follow in the right order and nobody is left waiting on someone else. That's why our extension projects hold to their schedule rather than stalling between contractors.

Built for how you'll live in it

Most of our extensions open up the back of the house — a bigger kitchen-diner, more light, a better connection to the garden. We build for that: aluminium bifold or sliding doors, roof lanterns and rooflights for daylight, underfloor-ready screeds and the electrics and plumbing set out for the finished room.
